What To Expect From Biker Romance Books?
Biker romance books explore the thrilling world of motorcycle culture. They take readers on a wild ride through stories with exciting moments and unique characters.
Biker romances often have daring protagonists. From tough-as-nails men and women to roguish antiheroes, these heroes and heroines often add an element of thrill and danger to the story.
You can also expect a depiction of strong bonds between characters outside of the romance, that often goes beyond mere friendship.
Many stories involve the protagonists forming tight brotherhoods or clans as they help each other get through tough times both on and off their bikes.
You can always expect plenty of drama with themes of rebellion, loyalty, and found family. Biker romance books are filled with thrilling action, inspiring relationships, and are perfect for anyone with an appetite for adrenaline!
The Best Biker Romance Books
Now you know what to expect from biker romances, it’s time to show you my favorites…
1. Reaper’s Property (Reapers Series, Book 1) – Joanna Wylde
If you’re looking for an angsty romance novel that takes you on a ride of emotions, then I introduce you to Reaper’s Property, which is about an old-school biker gang with a badass hero looking to find his Old Lady.
Marie has just left her abusive husband and is far from looking for a new man. She certainly isn’t looking for a bad boy to show up in her bedroom.
Only the big, burly, tattooed badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one day thinks differently.
Marie doesn’t know much about him. She doesn’t know his name, or where he works, and is certain he’s some kind of criminal.
He’s all sorts of wrong and she needs him out of her life. Only, he’s so dang hot…it’s easier said than done.
If you love oily, greased-up bikers with a bad attitude, then you’re going to swoon over the male protagonist, Horse, in Reaper’s Property.

2. It Ain’t Me, Babe (Hades Hangmen Series, Book 1) – Tillie Cole
If you love a hero who’s a badass but still has a vulnerability, then you’ll enjoy the contrasting personality of River, the male MC of It Ain’t Me Babe.
Salome knows only one way of life. One of religion and righteousness. In her commune, she knows nothing of life beyond her strict faith, until one day a horrific event causes her to flee.
Salome must learn about the world outside. A world that’s scary and full of temptation and in.
When chance came, she meets River ‘Styx’ Nash, a boy from her past. He knows a different life. A life of Harleys and drugs.
When he becomes the leader of the biker gang, Hades Hangmen, he is forced to deal with the haters. He’s fearless and has a reputation for being ruthless – a reputation that keeps most at bay.
He has one rule. Don’t let anyone get too close. This was easy until he finds an injured young woman in his lot who looks strangely familiar.
She doesn’t belong in his world, yet he can’t let her go.
It Ain’t Me, Babe is a dark biker romance novel with a sensitive storyline with an MC who is a total badass but has a speech impediment that causes the club to doubt his ability to lead. I love how he comes across as badass, but has a soft inner core.
Trigger warning: contains intimate scenes, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics.

3. Own the Wind (Chaos Series, Book 1) – Kristen Ashley
If you’re looking for an age gap romance novel about bikers that also has a beautifully written plot, then Own the Wind is up there as one of my favorites.
The story follows Tabitha Allen who grew up in the Chaos-the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Her father is the leader, and the club always had her back. One rider was different.
Shy Cage was always there to protect her and pick her up when she was down.
When her life was torn apart, he helped her put it back together. Now, their friendship looks to be becoming something more…
Tabby is beautiful, smark, and everything Shy’s ever wanted. She’s also his friend’s daughter and therefore untouchable.
Even if she wasn’t her friends, daughter, how could she love a man with such an age gap?
He never expected to be more than friends. When she says she wants more, he feels like the luckiest man alive.
But with all best friend to lovers romance novels, good things don’t come easy…
I really enjoyed the writing style of Own the Wind, Kristen Ashley had me hooked from the very first page. She has given each character a carefully thought-out backstory and plenty of depth.

4. Undeniable (Undeniable Series, Book 1) – Madeline Sheehan
Undeniable is an all-consuming, soul-crushing biker romance story with intense and, if I’m being honest, sometimes disturbing scenes.
It follows a love story that knows no boundaries. Our main protagonist is Eva Fox, the daughter of the leader of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club.
All her life, growing up with bikers in the club was all she knew.
Eva has always had a crush on Deuce West since she was a young girl. He’s hot and a total bad-ass.
Like Eva, he was raised in the club, but that’s all they had in common. As Eva matures into a woman, they reunite by chance and feelings start to evolve.
Fate continues to bring them together, but their story is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed.
Eva sees Deuce as a man worthy of love, but he cannot see it. This is a story of love, pain and growth.
There is a good balance of fast-paced action and slow burning moments, allowing readers to fully enjoy the journey of the main characters as they work their way toward finding love.

5. Incandescent (Knights Rebels Series, Book 1) – River Savage
Incandescent has a storyline that is realistically crafted, allowing readers to become invested in the fate of its characters.
We follow the story of Phoenix ‘Nix’ Knight who is president of the Knights Rebel biker gang.
He worked hard to get his club out of illegal crimes his dad got them into, and all was going well until he met Kadence.
Kadence Turner is the teacher of Nix’s kid. She finds him crass, obnoxious, and dangerous. So dangerous, that it’s steamy. No matter how hard she tries, she can’t seem to hate him.
As the bad boy biker tries to break down her walls, she won’t give in without a fight.
The tension is high, and the attraction is undeniable. If you want to be sucked into a bad boy romance story about a man who wants a woman, and will stop at nothing to get her, then Incandescent is the book for you.

6. Clutch – Drew Elyse
Clutch is a biker romance book filled with intense and passionate emotions, providing an engrossing read from the first page to the last.
Cami was raised in the Savage Disciples Motorcycle Club. One day, she leaves to build a life of her own. But leaving also means leaving her fiancé’s passive aggression.
Soon, she turns to drugs as a way to self-medicate. But Cami won’t give in without a fight. A Disciple will fight to the end.
When Gauge tags along to visit Cami with her dad, he can’t believe who he meets; a fiery daughter and the puppet with the blank effect.
Despite his bad-boy exterior, he wants nothing more than to help Cami.
She might be the daughter of his best friend, a romance that’s forbidden, but love knows no boundaries.
This is the first novel in the Savage Disciples series, but each book is written as a standalone novel about different characters in the motorbike gang. Each book has a forbidden romance story of each of the different characters and has no cliffhangers.

7. Wicked Bite – Rebecca Zanetti
Wicked Bite is a paranormal biker romance book with a hot twist by the New York Times–bestselling author of the Dark Protectors series, Rebecca Zanetti.
Nessa Lansa is a witch, hunting for the drug lords who are killing her kind.
Her instincts lead her to a Grizzly motorcycle club, full of shapeshifting bad boys who are no strangers to killing things.
Their leader, Bear, is not what she was expecting. He’s strong and the silent type, with warm brown eyes and jacked with muscle.
Her plan was to seduce and betray him. But with someone so hot, it’s easier said than done…
This is a fast-paced novel with plenty of action and a swoon-worthy hero who wants to protect the girl at all costs. I loved the chemistry between Bear and Nessa; they face many obstacles on their way to true love, making their journey all the more compelling.

8. Archer – Debra Kayn
Archer is the story of a woman on the run who finds an accomplice in a man who will stand by her side no matter what.
It is the debut brother’s best friend romance novel by Debra Kayn, author of the Bad Boy Biker novels.
Jane Beaumont is escaping her violent ex-boyfriend and is on her way to Bay City, Oregon, her home.
Accompanied with a hundred grand in cash, a pistol, and a cat, her plan is to lay low at the Beaumont Body Shop owned by her brother – a car dealership as a front for his secret private investigation agency.
Only she meets Kage Archer. He’s handsome, strong, and determined to protect Jane. She’s always adored Kage but is not willing to put him in harm’s way.
Kage is no stranger to trouble. After learning of all she’s endured, he has a burning desire to protect her. But he himself is a dangerous man.
When the time comes, can Kage convince Jane that she is safer with him?
I loved the relationship between Kage and Jane, who started out as her brother’s best friend and soon became devout to her. If you love stories with danger, sex, guns, and relatable characters, this is the book for you.

9. The Belle and the Biker – Kenzie Reed
Are you looking for a swoon-worthy fake relationship romance books? Then The Belle and the Biker is a really fun read. It’s a romantic comedy with an interesting plot and enjoyable characters.
Crash McClanahan is all kinds of wrong. He’s a hot, dangerous biker who you must stay away from. At least, that’s what Savannah tells herself.
When Savannah’s life in New York comes crashing down and she’s forced to go on the run, Crash is the only one she can count on.
He has her back, and he drives her crazy.
He’s all kinds of wrong, but he feels so right.
This is the second book in the Fake It Till You Make It series but can be read as a standalone novel. I loved the opposites attract elements in this story as it made the romance more believable.

10. Slow Burn – Autumn Jones Lake
Slow Burn is the last biker romance book in the Lost Kings Motorcycle Club series but can be read as a standalone novel.
Written by USA Today bestselling author, Autumn Jones Lake, this powerful love story will make you fall in love over and over again.
The story follows Rochlan “Rock” North who is the president of the Lost Kings Motorcycle Club and has never found a woman who makes him want to settle down.
One day, he meets a kind, innocent lawyer, Hope Kendall. She’s also married and completely off-limits.
Hope was tasked with representing the outlaw biker and she cannot deny her attraction to Rock.
He thrills her, but she’s not going to throw away her good life and a good marriage for a fling with her criminal client.
Even though the attraction is magnetic, he respects her enough to not try anything. But when her life is in danger, he’s forced to destroy everything to save her.
Soon Rock realizes she is the one for him. Can this determined man convince her that they’re meant to be together, despite their differences?
Even though there were times when I really didn’t like Rock, I felt the intensity of their relationship throughout the pages of this heartfelt slow burn romance book.
If you’ve ever seen Sons of Anarchy on Netflix, then this is similar to that series but in book form.
