About the Chronicles of St Mary Series

The Chronicles of St Mary series is what started it all for Jodi Taylor. It’s a historical fiction and fantasy series that follows a group of researchers, lead by Dr Madeleine (Max) Maxwell of the St Mary’s Institute of Historical Research as they time travel back to key historical events and discover what really happened.

The tales take you back to Victorian London to meet Jack the Ripper, or to meet Isaac Newton in the 17th century, or to rescue the dodo bird, or even to Ancient Egypt and Pompeii.

Each novel in the Chronicles of St Mary series is a separate storyline but featuring the same characters. The relationships between each character develops through the series, so it’s advised to read them in order – though you won’t lose any magic by reading them in any order you like.
